Show Notes

This week on The Gathering Well Podcast, Hazel is teaching through Hebrews chapters 8 and 9 and discussing the feelings of guilt and shame. Guilt is a feeling based on action, we've all been guilty at some point and can usually name what it is we are guilty for. But shame is sneakier, it is the feeling of contamination and exposure. Hazel discusses the ways that Old Testament sacrifices were not sufficient to cover guilt or shame, and the things we do try and clean ourselves up now aren't either. We need a better covering, a better sacrifice, we need Jesus. And we need the covering he provided through the cross every single day.
